The purpose of the Alumnae Council is to engage alumnae/i in a variety of ways that accomplish the following objectives:
Each member serves a three-year term. In addition, Council members:
Alumnae Council members each participate in one council committee.
Purpose: To act as a liaison, driving communication and spirit between athletics alumnae, the athletics department, and the University.
Purpose: To create a fun and engaging platform for alumnae and current students to connect and inspire.
Purpose: To support students in their pursuit of a meaningful career, in partnership with the Career Development Office.
Purpose: To build a strong foundation of relationships to engage, develop and sustain successful chapters worldwide.
Purpose: To support the College for Adults in the areas of building awareness, recruiting students and shaping the future mix of program offerings and essential support services for adults. Members must be graduates of the Weekend College, Evening Weekend Online or Associate Programs.
Purpose: To engage St. Kate’s alumnae/i within their professional organizations through networking, enrichment, and volunteering.
Purpose: To increase student awareness of alumnae/i initiatives and foster students into active volunteers and supporters for St. Kate’s before and after graduation.
Purpose: To promote learning as a continuous and lifelong process and provides spiritual, educational and professional experiences that enhance quality of life and empower alumnae/i.
Purpose: To establish a mentoring program at St. Kate's, pairing our newest graduates with alumnae mentors.
Purpose: To identify, recruit and retain members to serve on the St. Catherine University Alumnae Council.
Purpose: To hold the Movers & Shakers event, helping students move into campus residence halls at the beginning of the academic year, and assist in hosting St. Kate's students who are not able to travel to be with their families during holiday breaks.
Purpose: To support the work of the admission department in the recruitment of students to the College for Women.
Purpose: To create opportunities, through events such as the University-wide day of service, Citizen Katie, where alumnae/i, students, faculty and staff come together in service to positively impact community.
Purpose: To be a relevant and inspiring resource for recent graduates in a pursuit to support a lifelong relationship with St. Kate's.
