From June 26–30, Minnesota Private College Week (MPCW) brought high school students — and potential future Katies — and their families to campus. Offering daily sessions, Admissions welcomed high school students with a taste of the essentials of life at St. Kate's: campus tours, panels with current students, meet-and-greets with admissions counselors, and — of course — an ice cream social as the cherry on top.
Students hailed from a range of states that included Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and California. In an even bigger turnout than last year, a total of 300 prospective students and guests visited campus last week. Almost every group reunited us with Katie alumnae — good to see you again! — visiting with their daughters. (Do we spy some DupliKates in the mix?)
MPCW is an annual opportunity for high school students take introductory campus tours and discover different college options. St. Kate’s is one of seventeen state-wide private nonprofit colleges and universities who participate in MPCW.
